No. Church Camp is intentionally built as a partnership of local churches. Students must attend as part of a participating church group and complete that church's student selection, interview, and approval process.

Use the interview process to exercise pastoral wisdom. Church Camp has a specific purpose and may not be the right fit for every student every year. If there are significant questions about a student's profession of faith, church involvement, willingness to participate, or readiness, we encourage leaders to exercise caution. “Not yet” can become an opportunity for intentional discipleship and preparation for a future year.

Every attendee registers individually. Each student needs their own registration, including siblings. Students and parents are encouraged to complete the form together because parent/guardian information is required. Be careful to enter the student/camper as the person being registered—not the parent. Every sponsor, including the Youth Minister/Lead Sponsor, must also complete an individual registration.

Churches bringing both male and female students are strongly encouraged to bring both male and female sponsors. This is especially helpful for dorm supervision, small groups, personal conversations, and caring well for your own students. For smaller groups, this is preferred but not an absolute requirement.

Partially. The $300 church deposit secures your church's participation and registration fee. Half of the deposit is credited toward your final camp balance. If paying the deposit creates a financial concern for your church, please reach out to a member of the Church Camp Leadership Team. We don't want the deposit requirement to prevent a church from having a conversation with us about participating.

If a church must withdraw, $150 of the $300 deposit is refundable through May 2, 2027. The remaining $150 is non-refundable. After registration closes at 10:00 PM on May 2, the entire deposit is non-refundable.

After registration closes at 10:00 PM on May 3, student and sponsor registration fees are non- refundable. At that point, shirts, supplies, lodging, and other camp expenses are being finalized based on registered numbers.

We understand that unexpected situations happen. Substitutions: While not encouraged after the deadline, a replacement student may be permitted. The new student must meet all Church Camp eligibility requirements, complete the Spiritual Assessment and interview process, and complete the required registration. Late additions: Additional students may be accepted if space is available and after consultation with the Church Camp Leadership Team. Please contact Church Camp leadership before making any substitution or late addition. Our expectation is that churches make every effort to have their complete roster registered by May 3.

The $300 deposit is a church deposit and is not tied to a specific number of students or sponsors. Your final balance is based on your registered students and sponsors. If the final calculation results in Church Camp owing your church money, the appropriate amount will be returned to the church. Remember that registrations become non-refundable after May 2 at 10:00 PM.

No. Email the completed Background Check Statement of Compliance to Joey Snodgrass by May 5. Do not email individual background-check reports. Your church should retain those reports and bring hard copies for each adult sponsor to registration on Monday, May 24.
